Food

“Ask not what you can do for your country. Ask what’s for lunch.” – Orson Welles

Another good reason to travel is the chance to taste the food from different countries. With Singapore’s multicultural society, tons of food choices from different countries are already readily available in this small city. Food specialities vary from English, Chinese, Indian, Malay, Thai, Viet, Japanese, Korea, Russian, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Swedish, Turkish, American, Brazilian to much more which I cannot remember. Singaporeans are truly blessed when it comes to choice of food. It is like a United Nation of Food LOL.

Still, nothing beats tasting the food from the origin. Best if I can find a different version abroad. I’m no food connoisseur and in many occasion, the taste is always same-same but different.

I will try to visit places recommended by the locals while also keeping a backup list of ‘must try’ places gathered from Food and Travel Blogs, Magazines or TV Channels. Just in case for some reason the recommended places are out of the way or I am short of time.

Below is a list of wonderful food which I have tasted. More will be added so do check back for updates or simply subscribe to the blog
